Potato Services believes strongly in a sustainable supply chain. Everything from sustainable growing practices utilized by our growing partners to providing the most economical and carbon efficient varieties for our customers throughout the Americas.

We work hard with our farming partners to ensure that we are creating a supply that is not only sustainable for future generations, but one that can meet the demands of our customer base with a minimal impact on our environment. Tracking our GHG and water use by cwt, we are targeting a 30% reduction by 2030.
Proud Member of the Potato Sustainability Alliance
In February 2025, PSI joined the Potato Sustainability Alliance (PSA), an inclusive, pre-competitive collaboration of all players in the potato value chain.
PSA and its members work to define, measure and advance potato sustainability by using robust metrics to drive improvements in productivity and profitability. These efforts are focused on protecting the environment and streamlining how farm-level data is collected and made available to end users.

Our work spans across the value chain and so does our commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Scope 3 reduction involves minimizing indirect greenhouse gas emissions across the entire value chain. From our farming partners who produce the potatoes to the processors and packers who create the products you consume -the goal is to achieve maximum efficiency, sustainability and net-zero carbon emissions!
